João 1:1
(ACF) No princípio era o Verbo, e o Verbo estava com Deus, e o Verbo era Deus.
(NA26) Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος, καὶ ὁ λόγος ἦν πρὸς τὸν θεόν, καὶ θεὸς ἦν ὁ λόγος.
(NIV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
João 1:2
(ACF) Ele estava no princípio com Deus.
(NA26) οὗτος ἦν ἐν ἀρχῇ πρὸς τὸν θεόν.
(NIV) He was with God in the beginning.
João 1:3
(ACF) Todas as coisas foram feitas por ele, e sem ele nada do que foi feito se fez.
(NA26) πάντα δι' αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο, καὶ χωρὶς αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο οὐδὲ ἕν. ὃ γέγονεν
(NIV) Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
João 1:4
(ACF) Nele estava a vida, e a vida era a luz dos homens.
(NA26) ἐν αὐτῷ ζωὴ ἦν, καὶ ἡ ζωὴ ἦν τὸ φῶς τῶν ἀνθρώπων·
(NIV) In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
João 1:5
(ACF) E a luz resplandece nas trevas, e as trevas não a compreenderam.
(NA26) καὶ τὸ φῶς ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ φαίνει, καὶ ἡ σκοτία αὐτὸ οὐ κατέλαβεν.
(NIV) The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
João 1:6
(ACF) Houve um homem enviado de Deus, cujo nome era João.
(NA26) Ἐγένετο ἄνθρωπος ἀπεσταλμένος παρὰ θεοῦ, ὄνομα αὐτῷ Ἰωάννης·
(NIV) There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John.
João 1:7
(ACF) Este veio para testemunho, para que testificasse da luz, para que todos cressem por ele.
(NA26) οὗτος ἦλθεν εἰς μαρτυρίαν, ἵνα μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ φωτός, ἵνα πάντες πιστεύσωσιν δι' αὐτοῦ.
(NIV) He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.
João 1:8
(ACF) Não era ele a luz, mas para que testificasse da luz.
(NA26) οὐκ ἦν ἐκεῖνος τὸ φῶς, ἀλλ' ἵνα μαρτυρήσῃ περὶ τοῦ φωτός.
(NIV) He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
João 1:9
(ACF) Ali estava a luz verdadeira, que ilumina a todo o homem que vem ao mundo.
(NA26) Ἦν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἀληθινόν, ὃ φωτίζει πάντα ἄνθρωπον, ἐρχόμενον εἰς τὸν κόσμον.
(NIV) The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
João 1:10
(ACF) Estava no mundo, e o mundo foi feito por ele, e o mundo não o conheceu.
(NA26) ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ ἦν, καὶ ὁ κόσμος δι' αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο, καὶ ὁ κόσμος αὐτὸν οὐκ ἔγνω.
(NIV) He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
João 1:11
(ACF) Veio para o que era seu, e os seus não o receberam.
(NA26) εἰς τὰ ἴδια ἦλθεν, καὶ οἱ ἴδιοι αὐτὸν οὐ παρέλαβον.
(NIV) He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
João 1:12
(ACF) Mas, a todos quantos o receberam, deu-lhes o poder de serem feitos filhos de Deus, aos que crêem no seu nome;
(NA26) ὅσοι δὲ ἔλαβον αὐτόν, ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς ἐξουσίαν τέκνα θεοῦ γενέσθαι, τοῖς πιστεύουσιν εἰς τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ,
(NIV) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
João 1:13
(ACF) Os quais não nasceram do sangue, nem da vontade da carne, nem da vontade do homem, mas de Deus.
(NA26) οἳ οὐκ ἐξ αἱμάτων οὐδὲ ἐκ θελήματος σαρκὸς οὐδὲ ἐκ θελήματος ἀνδρὸς ἀλλ' ἐκ θεοῦ ἐγεννήθησαν.
(NIV) children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
João 1:14
(ACF) E o Verbo se fez carne, e habitou entre nós, e vimos a sua glória, como a glória do unigênito do Pai, cheio de graça e de verdade.
(NA26) Καὶ ὁ λόγος σὰρξ ἐγένετο καὶ ἐσκήνωσεν ἐν ἡμῖν, καὶ ἐθεασάμεθα τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ, δόξαν ὡς μονογενοῦς παρὰ πατρός, πλήρης χάριτος καὶ ἀληθείας.
(NIV) The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
O Testemunho de João
João 1:15
(ACF) João testificou dele, e clamou, dizendo: Este era aquele de quem eu dizia: O que vem após mim é antes de mim, porque foi primeiro do que eu.
(NA26) Ἰωάννης μαρτυρεῖ περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ κέκραγεν λέγων, Οὗτος ἦν ὃν εἶπον, Ὁ ὀπίσω μου ἐρχόμενος ἔμπροσθέν μου γέγονεν, ὅτι πρῶτός μου ἦν.
(NIV) John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.'"
João 1:16
(ACF) E todos nós recebemos também da sua plenitude, e graça por graça.
(NA26) ὅτι ἐκ τοῦ πληρώματος αὐτοῦ ἡμεῖς πάντες ἐλάβομεν, καὶ χάριν ἀντὶ χάριτος·
(NIV) From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.
João 1:17
(ACF) Porque a lei foi dada por Moisés; a graça e a verdade vieram por Jesus Cristo.
(NA26) ὅτι ὁ νόμος διὰ Μωϋσέως ἐδόθη, ἡ χάρις καὶ ἡ ἀλήθεια διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ ἐγένετο.
(NIV) For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
João 1:18
(ACF) Deus nunca foi visto por alguém. O Filho unigênito, que está no seio do Pai, esse o revelou.
(NA26) θεὸν οὐδεὶς ἑώρακεν πώποτε· μονογενὴς θεὸς ὁ ὢν εἰς τὸν κόλπον τοῦ πατρὸς ἐκεῖνος ἐξηγήσατο.
(NIV) No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
